I was filling up the car with gas and a car drove past the station. I could barely hear it because of the two inches of snow on the ground. I also enjoy how the moonlight reflects off of the snow covered ground. I would like to get some pictures, but by the time I get home it is dark. Maybe it will stil be around this weekend.

Today in typical Illinois fashion, it was ~60F in the afternoon followed by a drop to ~20F in the early evening and freezing rain. On the way home, I was pulling out onto Monroe St, which had approximately 60 cars backed up because of traffic, and began to fishtail in my truck (at 5 mph). I tried to recover, but the street was a solid sheet of ice. My fishtail grew into a rotating slide. I was approaching a tan Chrysler Pacifica and my brother Ryan and I were both certain that I was going to hit this car. Literally three feet from this car and the bumper to bumper traffic, my truck straightened out and stopped facing the opposite direction and in the turn lane. Ryan waived to the older gentleman driving the Pacifica and he waived back with a strikingly shocked look. The car behind the Pacifica was kind enough to let me in to the line of traffic. Apparently, God was having a little fun with us.
