I know it is a day early, but I would like to thank all those who have given their lives protecting our freedom. I would also like to honor those currently serving in the US military. No matter what our president says, this is one American who supports you!

I am glad that a Miss USA contestant had the courage to stand by her beliefs. I would imagine it is why she didn’t win, but I think the greater victory is holding true to your core values.

Pearl Harbor Day

Let us not forget what happened today 66 years ago. Don’t forget the soldiers that died that day. Don’t forget all the soldiers that died protecting us in World War II. Don’t forget the soldiers that are fighting for freedom and safety around the world right now. I thank them for the freedoms that I have, for which they risk their lives.

Canada Responsible for 50% of Movie Piracy

Hollywood is apparently blaming Canada for 50% of pirated moves (Original article here). At least this answers the age old question: What is Canada good for? This article seems to affirm the reason to invade.

Happy Pearl Harbor Day

Today is the 65th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Fox News ran a very good story about the reunion of the survivors this year. It seems that America has forgotten about this event. Today an unnamed local radio station did a “This day in history” segment that did not mention Pearl Harbor. That is disturbing. The attack killed 2,390 people and brought the US into WWII. I think it is worth remembering. I have never been in the military, but I do love this country. I also respect and honor those who have fought, or died for our freedom. I don’t want to make a statement in this post, I just want to remember Pearl Harbor and be thankful for those who were there.
