Since I purchased my Canon 30D in July, I have taken a lot of pictures. I don’t really like to print them due to the expense and vulnerability of the photos. This week I took some pictures of the Suttles family for their Christmas cards. I looked at the pictures before I submitted them for print and they looked fine. I ordered prints from Walgreens and what I received were not good pictures. The brightness was much lower than the picture I submitted. I believe they used some Kodak “smart” printing technology to fix the pictures. Under most circumstances that is fine when you have photographers who don’t know what they are doing. Shutterfly on the other hand prints very nice pictures. If this hadn’t been so close to Christmas, I would have used them. I will definitely from now on.
