Power Outage

We just had a power outage that lasted about 2 hours. I was at our house when the power went out so I went downstairs to turn off all my servers and my desktop. When I tried to turn off my desktop, I realized that my mouse and keyboard were not working. Through some further investigation, I discovered that the USB hub they were plugged into has a power cable that wasn’t on backup power. Needless to say I felt pretty dumb since I couldn’t turn the computer off. I finally pressed the power button and the computer went through the shutdown procedure. I am going to fix that right now.
