Happy Pearl Harbor Day
Dec 7th, 2006 by Jay Howerter
Today is the 65th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Fox News ran a very good story about the reunion of the survivors this year. It seems that America has forgotten about this event. Today an unnamed local radio station did a “This day in history” segment that did not mention Pearl Harbor. That is disturbing. The attack killed 2,390 people and brought the US into WWII. I think it is worth remembering. I have never been in the military, but I do love this country. I also respect and honor those who have fought, or died for our freedom. I don’t want to make a statement in this post, I just want to remember Pearl Harbor and be thankful for those who were there.

God bless America! Thanks for the great post!
Kinda makes you wonder if septermber 11th will ever be forgotten… (although it seems that some people in our culture already have)
